Profile
I have always enjoyed people in general and my working life was mostly in sales. In 2004 and 2005 I volunteered with both the Calvary Chapel Fort Lauderdale Convalescence Ministry and Big Brothers. That lasted 10 years until I moved to Port Charlotte in 2015. While spending time with the elderly in an assisted living home I had made many friends over the years. The elderly are blessed with wonderful life experience and wisdom and I truly enjoy being with them. Years Prior to that, my grandparents and then my Mother all had Alzheimer's. So I acquired a lot of care giving experience with them and then also in the past 3 years with MyHalo LLC. Most of my clients had varying degrees of Alz. or dementia. When you can connect with them, even with their impairment, and help them enjoy themselves it gives me that wonderful friendship feeling that I have striven for all these years. Who doesn't like hanging out with friends.
