My name is Stacey. I have been a CNA since 2006, but had a career with Wal-mart at the time of getting certified. Once I was relieved from Wal-mart I moved to Arizona where I took care of an elderly man. I cooked, cleaned, helped him with his insulin shots and helped him go to and from the bathroom and bed. Even when I was not working I'd stop by and simply sit and visit with him. I was not hired by a professional but by his family. Once he passed I worked for Target and went to the University of Montana for Anthropology. Upon moving back to Illinois I worked for Heartland Healthcare and Rehab until Missouri denied me the ability to challenge the CNA test. I am a hard worker and very caring. I strive for excellence and I always put my residents first. I love working with the elderly, whether it is my Grandmother (Whom I take care of and has Alzheimers) or the loved one of another.
