Profile
I am a 38 year old male with a passion to take care of others. My passion for caregiving began when I lived with my grandmother. She had diabetes and became a double amputee and was wheelchair bound. She lost both of her legs and at the time I was 16 years old. I assisted my mother with my grandmother with simple stuff at first like cooking for her, running errands' and cleaning the house. One day my mom had to stay late at work during the summer and my grandma couldn't make it to the restroom. I said grandma I can help you. She was embarrassed because she didn't want her 16 years old grandson cleaning her. I could not let my granny lie there like that. I cleaned her as if I was cleaning myself. When I was done I told my grandmother don't feel bad grandma, I know if you could have done it you would have done it yourself. I share this story because, I feel if you care for anyone, a job like that has to come from the heart.
