I enjoy helping with activities of daily living. I feel very comfortable working with with veterans and with the elderly. I have worked in a pediatric ward for traumatic brain injured patients assisting with their educational and personal rehabilitation needs. I educated and trained patients with devices which would allow them to improve their communication and daily living skills. I recorded and evaluated patients progress in their educational and medical care plans. I arranged and coordinated for transportation and any special medical needs of patients to attend out of hospital activities. I also maintained and briefed updated progress reports to family members and patients.
