I love helping people, especially the elderly. I have volunteered at Dekalb Medical Hospital, Emergency Dept., helped a Jewish elderly neighbor, and a few elderly couple friends, with doctor's appt. companionship, errands, light house keeping, etc. I cared for my late grandfather (maternally); he was blind and aged. Caring for him particularly stimulated my intense desire to continue caring for people. The joy, relief, and satisfaction people express after caring for them, is my fulfillment and motivation to keep providing quality care to whomever I am fortunate to care for. I have cared for so many people with diverse health conditions such as: colostomy, illeostomy, foley catheter, Alzheimer's, dementia, Parkinson's, diabetes, post surgery patients, decubitus ulcer, blind, paralyzed, etc. Because I am compassionate and determined about caring for people, I have gone to nursing school to be more educated and knowledgeable in providing professional care. I am patient, care centered primarily, work as team, goal oriented, and a family person with two children and one wife.
