Profile
I became a caregiver because it's my passion to help people. I lost my mother due to cancer when I was 17 years old. So I decided to go to school to become a certified nurse assistant so I can help the ones who can't help themselves, by showing compassionate care and letting them know they are not alone and letting them feel the love and compassion that I have for them. I have experience working in a nursing home for 17 years, and also in home care as well. I don't like treating people like they are a client. I'd like treating them like they are part of my family so they can be as comfortable with me and the care I give them as possible. My biggest gold is when a family member tells me job well done. It makes me feel like I made a difference in someone's life. That makes me feel happy to have helped a family in the need of care.
