Profile
I was an L.P.N for 17 yrs which working in most healthcare facilities is a "burnout" job. You aren't given the time to give the care & time you want, the reason for becoming a nurse. So right now I work 2 days a week holding groups for behavioral psych. & detox clients, so that they may hopefully use these skills to become more independent. Also briefly took care of a young gentleman with depression as a home/healthcare provider recently. I have excellent assessment skills, hold a great rapport with clients, families & peers. Very caring, endearing & patient. Also have a wide range of experience & capable of many various tasks.

Other Information
I've enjoyed working in long term care nursing homes & rehab. hospitals, even veterans throughout the years, but am open to new opportunities & feel I can no longer run the "rat race" of the nursing field with the limited opportunities of an LPN. Throughout my nursing career I have demonstrated the ability to build excellent relationships with both the patients, their families and my peers in all departments. I am loyal, dedicated and willing to work hard within a team or independently. I also demonstrate excellent assessment skills, nursing diagnosis and care planning. Possess great clinical technique and varied experiences. I've enjoyed and been comfortable with caring for people, and believe I make a difference in the people I care for. Being very patient, honest, empathetic. I also demonstrate excellent assessment skills, nursing diagnosis and care planning. Possess great clinical technique and varied experiences.
