Empathetic, reliable, respectful and dependable healthcare professional, with over 27 years’ experience in hospitals and skilled healthcare facilities, seeking a long term position in the healthcare field where I can work with people from different diverse backgrounds, serve patients’ needs and help the organization achieve its goals and objectives. I enjoy giving treatment and personal care procedures to patients including, but not limited to, feeding, bathing, shaving, changing clothing, cleaning and trimming fingernails, bed-making, assisting with ambulation, enemas, skin care, and bowel and bladder elimination; provide such additional care as required to meet the personal needs and comfort of assigned patients. Perform a variety of selected patient care tasks under the direction of an RN/LPN to assist medical and nursing personnel in the examination, treatment and care of patients. I learn the patient more when I am giving them care and serving them with their ADLs, so I can be better at obtaining and recording the patient’s data for medical records noting any significant changes in the patient's condition. I love this type of work because I get to her what that patient did in their past life time. I also carry a Bachelor’s Degree in Long Term Care; this is all I know. Clean assigned area; stock and replenish supplies and equipment as required.
