In America, individuals over 65 will go from about 13% of the population in 2010 to almost 20% of the population in 2030. Here in Seattle, Washington, our rise in the aging population is the same. Seattle is experiencing rapid growth in our aging population, and the demand for caregivers is increasing. The opportunities for caregivers in Seattle still tend to grow as the population continues to age at such a fast rate.
