In the USA, individuals over 65 will go from about 13% of the population in 2010 to almost 20% of the population in 2030. Here in Oakland, California, our boost in the aging human population is the same. Oakland is experiencing rapid rise in our aging population, and the need for caregivers is increasing. The opportunities for caregivers in Oakland will continue to increase as our population will continue age at such a fast rate.
